Apartments Anica are located in Lopar on the island of Rab, which with its relaxing Mediterranean climate and weather conditions is an ideal place for families with small children. The reason for this is that Lopar abounds with beautiful sandy beaches as well as various sports and entertainment facilities. Apartments Anica are located in the very center of Lopar but are again protected from traffic and crowds of summer evenings. Children of our guests can freely play and run on the meadows without fear of traffic. In front of the apartment and the holiday home there is a stone table in the natural shade where all the guests of Anica can enjoy themselves. In the garden there is a barbecue for storing delicious fish and meat delicacies, an outdoor shower with cold and hot water and an outdoor fountain.
To the Anica apartment you will easily reach the main road and turn left directly to the building of the ambulance (first turn left). Apartments Anica are only 100m away from the Paradise Beach, 70m from the shops and restaurants, 80m from the sports and entertainment center and 50m from the ambulance. All the desired contents are at your fingertips! Every visitor to our apartments has a secured parking space. Also, all apartments are air-conditioned, have satellite TV and free internet access. Lopar
Lopar is a tourist resort on the island of Rab, the farthest from the ancient city of Rab, the administrative center of the island. Lopar is famous for its abundance of sandy beaches and pristine bays with crystal clear sea. The local population mainly deals with tourism, agriculture, livestock breeding and fisheries. Lopar is surrounded by numerous islands and islets of which Goli otok, Grgur, Lukovac and Školjić are the most famous. The largest and most famous of all the beaches is Paradise Beach, 1.5 km long, with the most important tourist capacity of the place, and is characterized by the Blue Flag, an international symbol of quality and environmental preservation and safety of bathers. Near the Paradise Beach is also an attractive Livačina, where in the shade of pine trees there are several facilities that offer bathers and refreshments to bathers and a wide choice of beach and sea equipment. Those who prefer a more intimate atmosphere and a quieter time on the beaches with less swimmers continue their journey to the other picturesque coves along the barking shore. The Sahara is the most famous floating FKK beach. It is located not far from Paradise Beach but still far enough away from everyday life.
The gastronomic offer of Lopar is extremely rich: in about fifty restaurants, inns, taverns, pizzerias, there are a range of fish, meat and vegetarian specialties. The emphasis is on healthy food, especially fish and naturally grown vegetables from native gardens whose quality the locals have been cherishing since ancient times. There are numerous cultural and traditional customs to which Lopar is abundant, and Lopar can boast of 3 churches - the church of John the Baptist (protector of the Lopar Parish), the Church of the Birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary (a venerable church linked to the long tradition of celebration of Our Lady's holidays) Church of Sv. Nicholas on the Sorinj Hill (the church was built as a guardian of the seafarers' sign in the sign of their guardian of St. Nicholas). Where are we
The island can be reached by various means of transportation.
If you are arriving by car, the best connection to the island is from the ferry port in Stinica on the mainland to the ferry port Mišnjak on the island where the trip takes 15 minutes and it operates all year round, while in the summer it runs constantly without a timetable. The line Lopar - Valbiska, is becoming more attractive, as it connects the island of Krk (Valbiska) with the northern part of the island of Rab. The ride is 1,5 hours long and you can get comfortable in a cozy cabin during your travels. You can also reach the island by catamaran for passengers that connects the island with Rijeka and the island of Pag (Novalja). Daily routes from Rijeka by catamaran take about 2 hours to reach Rab, and extends to the island of Pag. The ride by catamaran is pleasant, comfortable and affordable.
Regular bus lines operate two times a day from Rijeka, four times a day from Zagreb, and once a day from Varaždin. The arrivals are rarer during the winter months and the most current timetable is displayed on each carrier’s website.
The nearest airport is located on the neighboring island of Krk. Several international lines connect it with various European cities. Timetables and connections with other cities can be found at Rijeka airport website. Passenger transfers and transportation is carried out on daily basis with Rijeka, Zadar, Zagreb and Pula to the island and back. The transportation is provided by Imperial company (reservations and requests can be made via email at transfer@imperial.hr).
